Product Characteristics
- Slight color variation is an inherent characteristic of all kiln
fired clay products.
- Crazing or microscopic cracks happen due to the difference in rate
of expansion and constraction of the clay body and glaze (viz,
coefficient of expansion). It will not affect the strength of tiles.
The degree of crazing varies among the color and clay body
formulation. This is not a manufacturing defect.
- Minor firing blemishes/non-smootheness (touch point) on the
surface of the tiles is unavoidable due to the nature of the
products with varying degree according to the plant of manufacturer.
These will not detract from the weatherproofing perfomance of the
tile and should not be seen as product fault.
